Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday!!
Other than my birthday... but I guess that's not really considered a holiday.
What's not to love about Thanksgiving?!
It's all of my favorite things:
1. SO MUCH delicious food ALL. DAY. LONG. (and leftovers of the delicious food for days to come!)
2. Family and friends
3. Expressing GRATITUDE!
We always go around the table and say what we are grateful for, and every year I am overcome with so much emotion (aka I cry... A LOT. Tears of joy though... that seem to get more voluminous each year...)
I am just so unbelievably FULL of appreciation for this amazing life!!!
No, things aren't always perfect.
They aren't perfect a lot of the time actually. And life can be SO challenging.
But when it comes down to it, I am so beyond grateful for every single experience and person that comes into my life. Good and bad. Happy and sad.
Because life is such an incredible journey. And we are all here to learn and live it TOGETHER!!
On that note, I am SOOOOOO THANKFUL for each and every one of you.
You inspire me every day to continue this blog and pursue my passion of spreading my message that health and wellness can be easy, fun, and DELICIOUS.
We're in this together, friends.
I love you all ❤️

Holy moly these were so good! We were so hesitant because we used to be big hotdog fans before going vegan and we were worried they'd disappoint. They did not!!! My husband threw them on the grill for warming, So yummy and a new staple for BBQ nights at our place!
1. Frog Eye Salad: Despite its name, this curious concoction has no amphibious origins. Instead, it's a delightful mix of tiny pasta pearls, pineapple chunks, mandarin oranges, and marshmallows, all enveloped in a creamy, custard-like dressing. It's a quirky salad that adds a burst of color and texture to the feast.
If you really want to serve something that is a nearly seamless substitute for Thanksgiving turkey, there's always Field Roast, a plant-based meat and cheese company that sells soy-free holiday roasts. They are wheat-based vegan stuffed roasts with a sage, rosemary, and bread filling.
While whole potatoes are naturally GF, potatoes that have been processed into potato flakes, French fries, tater tots, and packaged meals, may not always be GF. If the product is not labeled GF, then watch out for wheat, rye, barley, malt, and oat ingredients.
There are two reasons why ground spices like curry powder, turmeric, paprika, and cinnamon might contain gluten: They were either contaminated in the factory, or the manufacturer added a little flour to them later to prevent caking. Most herbs and spices are safe, however, especially if they're fresh.
